What do u all think ? Comments encouraged for this one ..
When the viewer first lay their eyes upon this piece, they will immediately see the vibrant color of the chair, the obvious focus of the photograph, in contrast to the surrounding gloom. The use of the Rule of Thirds makes the composition visually pleasing and balanced, your eyes go from the chair to the hanging lights and finally to the window, thus effectively taking you throughout the entire artwork. The dingy, forgotten look of the room just adds to the dread of the suffocating closeness of the walls. It might have been the chair where inmates spent their last moments, their screams echoing off the walls, or maybe it was a chair where haircuts were an everyday occurrence. The past holds many secrets, some too dreadful to fathom...
Thanks a TON .! Its got some interesting "history" behind it too .. So had to try my best to capture that "Crazy/Demented Feel" ..
Glad u dig it , and appreciate your time u took to comment .. I have this pic submitted into a contest , which soon i will need to get some VOTES to get it past the "top ten finalist" stage . Think if i let u know you could pop a vote for me when that time comes ?
